I am a BA Fashion graduate from Kingston School of Art who specialises in knitwear and print design. After four years of study, including work placements and study abroad programmes, I have developed a keen interest in the combination of textiles and fashion design, and how silhouette and surface can converse. I am a skilled knitwear designer and practitioner who is confident in using a variety of mechanical and hand processes (namely dubied and domestic machines) to manufacture a wide range of samples and garments. Storytelling and imaginary worlds have been central to my creative output from childhood and are subjects that I still like to translate into my design now. I am passionate about textiles and surface as a canvases for this exploration, which stems from a desire to make clothes which are sentimental and important to the wearer; to increase the longevity of garments.
