Recent Fashion Textiles graduate and jeans enthusiast! Studying fashion has made me increasingly aware of the not-so-smiley consequences of the garment industry, encouraging me to further educate myself on sustainability. This is now a cause I am very passionate about and channel through almost everything I do. Following graduation, I am looking to progress into a role within garment design / production / technology. I have excellent creative pattern cutting and construction abilities and am confident with developing industry standard and production ready CAD’s and tech packs. I have previously collaborated with small independent brands, curating bespoke tech packs suitable for manufacturers. As well as this, I manage my own business sourcing vintage pairs of jeans, reworking and resizing them to create an ethical alternative to buying new. Having initially operated through Depop, I am now exploring the possibilities of establishing my own e-commerce platform, wherein I can also educate customers on the importance of sustainability and ways in which they can prolong the lifetime of their clothing themselves. Nominated for the Graduate Fashion Week Pattern Cutting Award. Shortlisted for the Graduate Fashion Week New Business Award ad the Graduate Fashion Week Sports and Leisurewear Award
