As a fresh graduate from Fashion Textiles UWE Bristol, my strengths lie in designing womenswear, creative pattern cutting and fabric sourcing. I also enjoy communicating with different people and always work well in a team when striving for individual tasks. Before studying at UWE Bristol, I was born and raised in Hong Kong and went to universities in TamKang University in Taiwan and the University of the West of England. From my Chinese background and complex study environment, I am fluent in Cantonese, English, Mandarin and Taiwanese, and currently learning Japanese. This made me gain an interest in travelling that I am keen to continue as I enjoy meeting different cultures and expanding my vision of the world. During my study in Fashion courses at Taiwan Shih Chien University continuing education and Fashion Textiles in UWE Bristol, I developed skills and confidence in pattern cutting and garment construction; gaining practical knowledge in both traditional and innovative approaches – adapting them for different Market levels and product types. I have cultivated a high level of attention to detail and enjoy transforming imaginative ideas into tangible Fashion product.
