Soon to graduate, I am a Fashion Textiles Student fascinated by Biodesign and sustainable practices. I work with deadstock, waste and biomaterials, eager to learn from the pioneers of a changing fashion system. Being a seamstress for over 3 years, I make patchwork collections to eliminate the studio’s textile waste. I have proficient garment construction and visual communication skills and am very able in Adobe Suite, specifically for technical drawings. My research into sustainability has become a non-negotiable for me in the design process, therefore I have a vast knowledge of materials, sourcing and processes in this field. I enjoy making technical samples, prototyping and being tactile. For me, using ‘limited’ waste materials stimulates boundless creativity. Nominated for the Graduate Fashion Week Considered Fashion Award.
