I am a digital menswear designer who specializes in innovation within pattern cutting. I grew up in Somerset and spent my time on creative projects, eventually finding his way into fashion design through a fashion business course at Bridgwater college. My interest in military and functional wear led me to explore Gorpcore, a fashion trend blending outdoor recreation outerwear with streetwear. Seeking deeper inspiration, I researched the historic 1912 Terra Nova expedition to Antarctica—a monumental event with enduring cultural significance which some consider to be the beginning of Tech wear as we know it today. Hood shapes and details play a crucial role in my designs, mirroring the functionality of expedition gear. I experiment with oversized, adjustable, or multifunctional hoods that can adapt to various conditions. Accessories are integral to my vision, serving as complementary elements to the theme. Expedition-inspired bags, sturdy boots, and practical headgear feature prominently in his collections. I have also been awarded by SYKY 'top 50 emerging digital designers'. SYKY is a collective of digital designers who believe technology has the potential to be a great equalizer and the next generation of designers will be digital-first, revolutionizing design in digital, physical, and augmented worlds. They are driven by an ethos of opportunity, providing a platform for designers, collectors, and those who love fashion to curate, and trade their collections. My ambition is to progress through the new digital design landscape as a freelancer and turn my pattern cutting technique into a program through which all designs can benefit from.
