I am a womenswear designer who specialises in digital fashion. I create garments that exist in real life as well as garments that exist for you to wear in virtual environments. I utilise traditional pattern cutting and innovative craftsmanship in combination with 3D technology. My collection entitled ‘Father’s Trade’ demonstrates my proficiency with pattern making, manufacturing and construction, as well as my knowledge of Adobe, CLO 3D, Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine 5. It is inspired by my father’s heritage, emerging as geographic details, through the garments he and my mother sold in their retail store in the 80s. The collection exhibited my technical knowledge working with specialist materials such as leather and fur. After winning Young Fashion Designer UK at 16 it encouraged me to pursue a degree in fashion design. Throughout my time at university, I have been fortunate enough to be selected to present to Louis Vuitton and at Spring Studios’ 25th Anniversary sponsored by Moët Chandon and Lavazza. I have worked at a couture house refining my handwork, embroidery and tailoring knowledge and was selected as a semi-finalist for the Mayor’s Entrepreneur Fund for the creative industry awards in London, based on my luxury, womenswear label TULASI.
