As an MFA Menswear student at the University of Westminster, I present 'Twisted Neo-Punk', a unique menswear collection inspired by subculture fashion and the sculptures of Naum Gabo. The collection fuses punk rock aesthetics with sophisticated geometric designs, drawing heavily on the styles of bands such as The Clash and The Sex Pistols, and icons such as Johnny Rotten and Paul Simonon. "Twisted Neo-Punk" breaks traditional menswear boundaries by boldly layering and twisting structures in innovative ways. Inspired by Gabo's fluid and geometric sculptures, I confidently incorporate these elements to create dynamic, unconventional pieces. The collection features multi-layered flocking techniques and highlights the importance of handcrafted details, adding depth and texture to each garment. My goal is to combine the rebellious spirit of punk with the precision of geometric design, offering a fresh take on modern menswear. I am dedicated to exploring the intersection of subculture and high fashion, pushing the boundaries of material and technique. "Twisted Neo-Punk" is a testament to my vision and skill, showcasing a bold fusion of historical and contemporary influences and marking a step in my fashion career.
