A currach is a traditional wooden-framed boat, unique to the west coasts of Ireland. This specific design, shape and curvature is the key inspiration for the foundations of the collection - each seam is a curve derived from another curve. Other key Irish influences were drawn from within the collection, including the beaches we visited as children, folk west-Irish dress and traditional Aran Island cable knits. Such knits are translated and adapted into fabrications, resulting in a transfer print and vacuum-formed moulded leather.
