My graduate collection is called “The beauty in death". Inspired by 19th century Italian Renaissance Art; contrasting with a modern, baroque Italian artist who portrays his vision of death and religion along with areas of Cultural Japanese fashion. My collection is designed to create a feeling of confusion and concern and by doing this, there was an attention to detail and craft within pattern cutting and dressmaking. Coinciding with a range of materials, mixed proportions along with a dark colour palette; within each look there is similar design points but all from different meanings. My design and technical aspects to this collection are the use of innovative materials (silicone) along with bias cutting and circular cutting.
