I am Anuki Bothota from Sri Lanka. I chose fashion because I love to create and explore new ideas. My focus is on menswear, especially streetwear. I enjoy working with patterns and often change them up to make unique clothes. Sustainability is very important to me. I want to help solve the environmental issues caused by the fashion industry. I practice upcycling, zero waste, and creative pattern cutting to make sure my designs are eco-friendly. By reusing materials, I create garments that are both stylish and good for the planet. I also believe that clothes should be functional. Fashion should look good and be practical at the same time. I experiment with different manufacturing techniques and materials to ensure my designs are useful and innovative. My goal is to make clothes that people can wear every day and feel-good in. I am very interested in unisex fashion too. I think fashion should be for everyone, no matter their gender. This belief inspires me to create versatile pieces that anyone can wear. I want my designs to be inclusive and reflect the idea that fashion is a universal language. Recently, I have been working on pushing the boundaries of traditional menswear. I use creative pattern cutting to challenge classic shapes and bring fresh, modern styles to my work. This helps me blend avant-garde ideas with practicality, making sure my clothes are both cutting-edge and wearable. As a designer, I am always learning and exploring new things. I look for new inspirations and techniques to improve my skills. My work is all about sustainability, functionality, and inclusivity. These values guide everything I do, and I aim to make a positive impact through my designs. I am dedicated to creating thoughtful and innovative fashion that makes a difference. My designs reflect who I am and what I believe in, and I hope to inspire others in the fashion industry to think and create.
