Quinnie Yang's mission is to reflect on the fluidity of time and space, embodying urban exploration and leading fashion trends. From Shanghai, she completed a level 4 preparatory course at UAL: London College of Fashion with distinction and is about to graduate with a BA in Menswear. London's avant-garde fashion concepts and technologies have enriched her perspective and skills. She selects fabrics for their functionality and technicality, with waterproof/windproof cotton and sustainable technical fabrics as top choices, ensuring practicality and environmental sustainability. Her approach combines handcrafted hardware with spatial structures, emphasizing functionality and style. Rivets and liquid metal fabrics enhance durability and mirror the high functionality of space suits, challenging traditional fashion norms. Her collections target fashion-forward individuals aged 21-38 who love fashion and music. They may be hip-hop dancers, visit vintage shops, enjoy sports, keep large dogs. She positions her brand as a semi-luxury label within the £200-£1500 range, ensuring accessibility and expanding into higher categories. The brand uses a hybrid sales strategy, leveraging boutique stores, department outlets, and showrooms like BROWNS and Machine- A. This approach aligns with her ethos of responsible production and thoughtful design. The AW 2025 collection, 'Parallel Pulse,' explores the cosmos, reflecting on space and time's fluidity and cultural diversity. Inspired by astronauts and Duchamp's 'Nu descendant un escalier n° 2,' the series visualizes movement and speed. It blends space exploration apparel with digital elements, using heat-press technology and placement prints. Rivets and glossy fabrics echo spacesuit functionality, while streamlined lines reinterpret movement. The collection's precise structural positioning challenges traditional fashion by merging fabrics and functionality.
