Taskin Goec, a Berlin-based mixed-reality designer, seamlessly fuses heritage craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital technologies. Known for sparking visceral reactions, Goec's work forges deep connections between the digital and human realms. Drawing on his roots in the traditional industry, he collaborates with SHOWstudio, Première Vision, and Vogue+, among others, bringing a unique blend of tradition and innovation. His latest collection, "The Last Dance,"  is a celebration of humanity itself—sweat, emotion, and carnal memory—set in the technological swamp. To create these designs, Goec trained a custom AI model reflecting his signature style. The collection features rich textures achieved through innovative combinations of pleating, fraying, and printing techniques, both physically and digitally. The digital textures result from intricate cloth simulations and procedural node setups, showcasing Goec's mastery of blending tangible craftsmanship with digital artistry.
