I’m Alfie Stevens, a Fashion Textiles designer specialising in Menswear. A consistent theme throughout my work is exploring widely understood concepts and ideas, and applying my own experiences and memories to them to create a unique narrative. I enjoy using an amalgamation of visual research and bold colours, to create contemporary repeat and placement prints. My skill set encompasses both digital and analogue printing techniques such as screen printing and dye-sublimation. By understanding garment construction, I am able to apply my print work creatively within a fashion context. My most recent project ‘Matchday’ was inspired by my love of football and how it can be celebrated as a whole, contextualising it through my own experiences and memories.
