An ambitious, self-motivated final-year fashion student at Coventry University, specialising in womenswear. Her approach to fashion is heavily influenced by a keen interest in artistic expression, which allows her to push the boundaries of conventional design and develop innovative, standout collections. Experienced in working with independent designers and creators. Aware of current trends, industry knowledge and being able to achieve successful results working in a team and individually. Her final year project is a womenswear catwalk collection consisting of 6 outfits titled INNER LANDSCAPES. The collection was inspired by the art of Polish artist Zdzisław Beksiński (1929-2005), with a strong focus on technology and sustainability. The collection is the metaphor for the connections in our brains when it comes to our thoughts and how they create different pictures as well as connections throughout electronic devices. The pictures created in our minds may evoke fear which Beksiński illustrated in the best way in his paintings. Through the collection, she reflected textures and atmosphere coming from Beksiński’s paintings using electronic waste to create inspired textiles. She experimented with sustainable techniques to develop the most convenient approach for this collection. Upcycling was one of the main methods used for this project. The silhouettes as well as her collection of prints were inspired by the nostalgic aesthetic of the 90s’ and futuristic ideas/ technology, especially AI which is currently developing fearfully. Her commitment to continuous learning and development keeps me abreast of the latest advancements in fashion, its trends and technology but also customers and their needs, ensuring that her work remains innovative and relevant. She is excited about the opportunity to leverage her unique perspective and skills to make a meaningful impact in the fashion industry.
