As a Fashion and Textile designer based in London. I am a passionate individual who loves exploring print and textile design through different processes. My work is often experimental and explores different techniques, whilst focussing on designing print motifs and working with colour. I use digital and screen print, foil and flock, and textile manipulation techniques. My graduate collection, Fragmented Memories, reflects on my memories of travel, with a focal point on more recent destinations including Venice, Milan and southern Spain. These are fragments of my life and fond memories which have crafted me into who I am today, exploring the idea of experiences creating a mosaic of who you are. My catwalk collection allows the viewer to have an insight into my life experiences through imagery of collected drawings, stamps, shells, tickets and photographs from these locations, sharing the importance of this to me. My print collection is designed to visually teleport viewers back to their favourite travel memories, working with colour and texture to bring these ideas to life. Taking inspiration from designers such as Richard Quinn and Marine Serre. I wanted my garment shapes to explore large scale print, I created a collection that incorporates tiers, layering, and multiple garments. This design choice allowed me to display my prints on multiple scales and work with the idea of patchwork across multiple garments. The decision to include ruffles and bows reflects nostalgia from my childhood clothing My line-up recollects my favourite memories which I have gathered to create a montage of my past and I have been chosen as a finalist in the Kornit X Graduate Fashion Week 2024 Catwalk competition. I have also been able to apply my designs to childrenswear, proving how they can be adapted to different ages and markets. My childrenswear design collection is on trend, wearable and comfortable and has been shortlisted for the Graduate Fashion Week 2024 Childrenswear Award.
