This collection of ‘hats for the body’ reinvents traditional hat making techniques within the new context of contemporary womenswear, shining a spotlight on the endangered craft. Through the collection’s concept of Imposter Phenomena, Emily explores how garments can mould self-confidence and enable the wearer to ‘own the room’. Emily Rose uses British woollen mill deadstock to craft a British Story - Woven in the UK, Blocked in the UK, Made in the UK.
