I am a recent Fashion Design graduate from Bath Spa University specialising in menswear and unisex design for a commercial audience. My graduate collection is strongly influenced by my tortoise Verne, the patterns and textures on his shell are translated into carefully considered fabrics and textile techniques such as hexagonal smocking and screen-printing with the use of deadstock materials. My key interests are in the design development process, translating 3D work on the stand into 2D designs, as well as reversible and modular design to increase the longevity and wearability of my collection which in inspired by Verne's long life.
