I am a graduate from Bath Spa University, specialising in Fashion Design womenswear, for a luxury market. I have specialist skills within the translation of research to sketch, development of concept for design, illustration and textile development. My graduate collection: ‘La Mia Nonna’ stems from my Grandmother’s tablecloths which inspire the silhouette and textile fabrications. The floral motifs have been translated into quilted garments, ensuring a contemporary feel has been achieved. Laser cutting has been incorporated within my work to create a lace pattern in leather for the sleeve detailing. The physical tablecloth has been transformed with a dye and stud process, creating versatile, artistic garments.
