My name is Cecilia Castell, and I study Fashion Design at the University of Leeds. This portfolio displays my strongest and most complex work created during my final year, which was taken from my innovation and design modules. My work covers a range of inspirations such as uncovered family holiday memories, the deconstruction of garments and th structual artwork of Georgia O’Keeffe. Development in my collections have been varied, with experimentations in knit, print and more refined work such as embroidery and lazer cutting. In my final year, I have aimed to achieve a creative breadth in my work, with each collection focusing on a different aspect of design, such as colour, texture, and construction experimentation and technique
