LFW Designer Applications
London Fashion Week – 17th-21st September 2026
The LFW Schedule is curated by the British Fashion Council. The criteria for designers to be a part of the LFW schedule has been updated to reflect industry innovation and the changing fashion landscape. The new, more inclusive process caters for different types of business models not so reliant in wholesale.
- The eligibility criteria no longer includes minimum wholesale stockist requirement.
- All designers must apply each season, regardless of whether they have shown before, due to the limited number of slots available.
- Applicants will be assessed on creative merit.
LFW MAIN SCHEDULE – CATWALK & PRESENTATION LISTINGS - APPLICATION CRITERIA
- Applicants should be over one year in business.
- Collections should consist of ready-to-wear or accessories, not bridalwear or childrenswear.
- Please apply via this route for all main schedule physical activations, including appointments, screenings, pop-ups and exhibitions.
- Schedule activations are subject to a listing fee. Designers with an active BFC membership receive waived listing fees.

LFW DIGITAL SCHEDULE ACTIVATIONS – APPLICATION CRITERIA
All digital schedule activations will take place on Thursday 17th September 2026.
- Applicants should be over one year in business.
- Collections should consist of ready-to-wear or accessories, not bridalwear or childrenswear.
- Digital Schedule requires an element of moving content, a lookbook/imagery will not suffice.
- Digital schedule activations are subject to a listing fee.

DIGITAL DISCOVERYLAB - APPLICATION CRITERIA
The DiscoveryLAB is an opportunity for emerging brands to showcase their collections or brand stories in innovative ways and requires moving content.
- Applicants should be under three years in business and can only participate in Digital DiscoveryLAB a maximum of two times.
- Collections should consist of ready-to-wear or accessories, not bridalwear or childrenswear.
- DiscoveryLAB activations are subject to a listing fee.

PHYSICAL EVENING EVENT LISTING - APPLICATION CRITERIA
- Applications must be for events taking place from 7pm onward.
- Applications are judged on the merit and nature of the event.
- Evening events are subject to a listing fee.
Applications for LFW Evening Events September 2026 will open on Monday 13th July 2026. Please be aware this date is subject to change.
LFW DESIGNER PROFILE - APPLICATION CRITERIA
This is to have a profile on the LFW platform. See existing LFW profiles here.
- Applications are reviewed internally.
- Collections should consist of ready-to-wear or accessories, not bridalwear or childrenswear.
- The profile is subject to an annual non-member fee.
- BFC Members receive a complimentary LFW designer profile.
