Megan Spicer is a fashion designer specialising in print. Her work explores form, texture, line & pattern & showcases a bold & graphic use of colour & pattern. Her process is reactive; obsessively observing each piece of work & using it to continuously develop ideas for print and fashion. For her graduate collection, she explored movement and the extraction of linear details taken from her own marbling experiments and scans of existing garments. Constant interplay between 2D and 3D informed the patchwork of print designs which covered the oversized, sportswear-inspired silhouettes.
