Anastasiia Halushko is a UK-based fashion designer of the Ukrainian origin who
draws her inspiration from history, the identity of the past centuries; consequently,
she discovered something new and started working with vintage materials, namely
buttons, hand embroidery and non-standard vintage combinations in modern
design which she demonstrated in all of her works.
The revival of the high fashion of past centuries, inclusiveness, naturalness,
traditions, other life - all this combines and reveals the motives of her collections.
The complexity of forms as well as constructions, variety of textures, use of
recycled natural materials, draping, reflection are her ideology, whilst creating
collections. The main attention is paid to hand embroidery with the use of vintage
materials, namely buttons which act as iconic elements of Anastasiia’s works.
Her works were published in such magazines as VOGUE (Italia), L’OFFICIEl
(Ukraine), KALTBLUT (Berlin), ROIDX (France). Among the Ukrainian stars who wore
her outfits were TAYANA, Jerry Heil, YURINA and WELLBOY.
The philosophy which she adheres to is the diversity of boundaries, the old and the
new, to create a unique, unrepeatable design
