ABOUT THE ROLE
The BFC is looking for an experienced Creative Strategist & Production Manager to join the team and work on the ideation and delivery of creative campaigns & marketing activities across a 360 communications strategy for the organisation.

THE ROLE
The Creative Strategist & Production Manager at the British Fashion Council (BFC) is responsible for leading the creative production of marketing campaigns across all key BFC projects and events. This role involves developing and executing strategic, insight-driven creative solutions, managing content production, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns that meet the BFC’s strategic goals and elevate brand presence. This role will ensure that all creative output aligns with the broader BFC strategy and objectives, engaging audiences through innovative storytelling and digital-first content.
Responsibilities
Creative Strategy
- Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns aligned with BFC’s strategic vision across all projects and events, including London Fashion Week, The Fashion Awards, the Institute of Positive Fashion, and BFC Foundation Initiatives & Scholarships.
- Provide creative direction and strategic input for brand and commercial partnerships, ensuring seamless integration of partners across all initiatives and projects.
- Lead the ideation and execution of content creation strategies, ensuring campaigns are compelling and have impact.
- Work closely with the communications team to align messaging and creative direction with the broader marketing strategy.
- Oversee the marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns respond effectively to BFC’s annual strategic objectives.
- Develop creative solutions to enhance campaign performance, ensuring deadlines and OKRs are met.
- Oversee brand content creation plan to deliver to BFC channels, ensuring audience engagement and alignment with business OKRs as set by comms team.
- Ensure excellence and brand consistency across all creative outputs, maintaining high standards of storytelling and visual identity.
Creative Production & Content Development
- Oversee and manage all content creation within the business, including photography, videography, and print assets.
- Manage relationships with creative agencies, freelancers and production agencies to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery of high-quality assets.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all marketing projects, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and strategic priorities.
- Attend and lead relevant client meetings, pitches, and presentations.
- Provide insight-driven reporting on campaign performance, translating insights into actionable steps for ongoing refinement and to deliver excellence and impact.
Project & Budget Management
- Lead brainstorming sessions and team meetings, driving innovation and problem-solving to meet OKR’s.
- Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Escalate where needed.
- Work closely and collaboratively with direct reports and broader team to ensure timely execution and delivery of creative projects with buy in.
- Ensure seamless project management from ideation to execution, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.

Project & Budget Management
- Strong organisational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to allocate budgets effectively and manage costs within set financial parameters.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality campaigns on time and within budget.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee complex project timelines and stakeholder expectations.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally within the organisation and with external partners.
- Ability to manage relationships with sponsors, clients, agencies, and creative professionals.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a team, fostering collaboration and innovation and excellent output with impact and reporting.
- Ability to clearly articulate creative vision and strategy to both internal and external audiences.
Analytical & Impact Driven Approach
- Experience in tracking and analysing campaign performance.
- Ability to use data to tell stories and give insight to optimise creative direction and marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of OKR driven marketing and how to translate data into actionable creative
