The British Fashion Council (BFC) announces key updates to London Fashion Week presented by 1664 Blanc (LFW) for June 2025 and an expanded international presence. In response to the evolving fashion landscape and feedback from the BFC’s Community of designers and brands, there will be no standalone LFW in June this year. Instead, in June, the BFC will provide crucial commercial opportunities and secure business growth for designers and brands with a special focus on menswear. This decision follows a highly successful February season which reinforced LFW’s role as a leading platform for creativity and innovation within the global fashion ecosystem. As brands increasingly opt to present co-ed collections during the February and September editions of LFW, the BFC remains committed to strengthening these key moments, ensuring a more impactful and commercially viable platform for designers.
Building on its international strategy, the BFC is also pleased to confirm the return of LONDON show ROOMS (LsR) to Paris four times a year during Paris Fashion Week. Following a strong showcase during Paris Fashion Week in March—featuring designers such as Dilara Findikoglu, LABRUM London, and S.S.DALEY—LsR will return from Thursday, 26th June to Tuesday, 1st July 2025. A vital initiative under the BFC Foundation, LsR provides BFC Foundation designers and British emerging designers with an unparalleled commercial opportunity to present their collections to top international buyers and press, driving sales and global recognition.
A spokesperson for the British Fashion Council said: “This June, our focus will be on championing British menswear and strengthening its presence both locally and internationally. Taking a digital-first approach, we will collaborate with buyers and media partners and leverage our own channels to spotlight the evolving story of British menswear, introducing and promoting designers to new audiences. This will be woven into our existing content streams, highlighting British designers presenting in other markets and exploring the evolution of menswear. By scaling back to more targeted programmes this June in London and Paris, we aim to create strong foundations to amplify the message of our brilliant British menswear businesses. We recognise the challenges the sector faces both in the UK and globally and remain committed to amplifying the voices of British menswear designers as they navigate an ever-changing fashion landscape and will continue to adapt and find ways to platform our brilliant British menswear business.
As we reflect on a successful London Fashion Week presented by 1664 Blanc and LONDON show ROOMS, we are pleased to share our plans for the upcoming seasons. February proved to be a pivotal moment, with press and retailers from nearly 40 countries gathering in London and the launch of the London Fashion Week Shop on Regent Street, which provided designers with a valuable platform. The season highlighted the city’s creative energy and the resilience of our designers, who delivered dynamic shows and presentations despite ongoing industry challenges. We are delighted to confirm that LONDON Show ROOMS during Paris Fashion Week will provide an opportunity four times a year for BFC Foundation designers to generate sales and develop their relationships with international media outside of a show environment reinforcing our commitment to providing vital commercial opportunities for British designers.”
LONDON show ROOMS will take place from Thursday 26th June to Tuesday 1st July in Paris. LFW September 2025 will take place from Thursday 18th to Tuesday 22nd September. LFW February 2026 will take place from Thursday 19th to Monday 23rd February. LFW September 2026 will take place from Thursday 17th to 21st September.
