Kieran Roderick SS23 Graduate collection 'SCULPTED FRAGILITY' is a retrospective and reflective catalogue of work that starts with the uncertainty and lack of stability the 2020s have posed for the people and the average day to day The collections themes are both influenced by social and political struggles that then are explored through sculpture and architecture. Many of my mood images look at 1960s and 70s modernist and brutalist objects that are smooth, unbreakable and strong structures that are not static, they simply seem like they have been shot in motion. Balancing the influence of both art and social issues, the collection is designed around a person in mind that’s reflective of what my themes represent, confidence, resilience, power and strength. All attributes of the public during the uncertainty and struggles that 2020's have brought on.
