London Men's Week Talk Series

The Talk Series will complement those organised during London Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend. Open to the public, the talks will play a role in broadening engagement during London Collections Men, and will be entitled London Men’s Week Talk Series. The programme features some thought provoking and inspiring speakers from the industry – offering insights from the global fashion community to fashion interested consumers. The talks will run daily through LCM and take place at the luxury members’ club hangout, Century Club. Tickets to this inaugural series are free of charge and have a capacity of 100 guests per talk. Friday 8th January 2016 – 7pm:  Ashley Heath and Max Pearmain in conversation with Lucy Moore.
Ashley Heath; Editorial Director and Max Pearmain; Editor-in-Chief of Arena Homme+, join Owner/Director of iconic bookstore, Claire de Rouen, to discuss the changing menswear landscape and subsequent representation within print media.
 
Saturday 9th January 2016 – 12.30pm:  Nicola Formichetti in conversation with Jo-Ann Furniss.
Super-stylist, Creative Director and more recently, publisher, Nicola Formichetti is a global fashion phenomenon. A true multi-disciplinary artist, his Midas touch has transformed everything from Dazed to Diesel. Esteemed journalist Jo Ann Furniss discusses his illustrious career and numerous achievements to date.
 
Sunday 10th January 2016 – 12.30pm:  Kim Jones in conversation with Lou Stoppard.
From fledgling graduate to global head of Menswear at Louis Vuitton, Kim Jones has never lacked integrity. An uncompromising vision, and exquisite attention to detail ensured a meteoric rise to the top of the industry. Applauded for his ability to marry the conceptual with the commercial, his reference points are far from conventional. Here Kim Jones talks to Lou Stoppard about his life, his work and his many influences.
 
Monday 11th January 2016 – 11.30am:  Lev Tanju in conversation with Paul Flynn.

Visionary founder of skate label, Palace, Lev Tanju gives a rare insight into his notoriously private world; a world in which business will always be overshadowed by the mighty skateboard. While world domination seems inevitable for our home-grown success story, Paul Flynn discusses the incredible impact this relative newcomer has had on a notoriously loyal skate scene, and its subsequent appropriation by the fashion pack.
