Roland Mouret today announces that he will show his resort collection in London on May 29, 2014. Whilst his mainline collection will continue to be shown in Paris in October and March during fashion week, Mouret’s Pre-collections will now be presented in his flagship home at 8 Carlos Place.
This invitation only event attended by press, buyers and Roland Mouret ambassadors, will be the first time a resort collection has been showcased in the fashion capital. Specifically a movement of showing the commercial relevance of Pre-fall and Cruise.
“I am thrilled to be showing my Resort Collection in London this year. The pre-collections count for about 70% of my business and so I wanted to celebrate and showcase that properly. I have my catwalk shows in Paris, my red carpet support from Los Angeles and a new store opening in New York at the end of this year. I wanted to complete my fashion world by showing in London - my home and where my brand has its heart”.
