The British Fashion Council (BFC) is delighted to release a provisional line-up for London Fashion Week presented by Clearpay, which will run from Friday 17th to Tuesday 21st September 2021 as a physical-digital hybrid, marking a long-awaited cultural reopening of London.
The provisional line-up currently sees over 100 confirmed participating designers who will present new collections. More names will be added over the next few weeks, with a provisional schedule to be released mid-July with specific information regarding the format of each showcase (physical, digital or both).
Known for creativity, innovation and culture, London Fashion Week presented by Clearpay, will once again curate excellence and empower growth, showcasing exceptional designer fashion talent. The international event will also focus on the importance and joy of clothing through the lens of responsibility, in line with the BFC’s Institute of Positive Fashion mission to encourage best practice as well as future decisions to create positive change in the fashion industry. Last month, the BFC announced its commitment to the Race to Zero pledging to take immediate action and called on all brands to pledge to the same campaign, set targets and milestones to drive serious change. Similarly, London Fashion Week presented by Clearpay will encourage consumers to play their part as changemakers to create a better world and a fashion industry we are all proud of.
The September event will incorporate catwalk shows, presentations, appointments, events, digital content and activations throughout London. In partnership with its Principal Partner Clearpay, London Fashion Week will celebrate the reopening of London by relaunching a City-Wide Celebration programme across the capital, making the best of British fashion accessible to consumers, supporting retail to get back on its feet and opening London Fashion Week to new audiences and communities. The dynamic schedule, open to all, will include events and activations in partnership with key retailers, cultural institutions, and businesses. A full schedule of activities and how to get involved will be announced later in the summer.
The LFW digital platform, londonfashionweek.co.uk is the Official Digital Hub and will be freely accessible to everyone, industry professionals and global fashion consumers alike, showcasing digital content from the designers, enabling collaboration and bringing together fashion, culture and technology.
