BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL ANNOUNCES LFW SHOP ON REGENT STREET AS PART OF ITS CITY WIDE CELEBRATION

We are excited to announce The London Fashion Week Shop presented by 1664 Blanc which will provide crucial commercial support for designers. Curated by Ida Petersson and Lewis Bloyce, the archive and discovery space is open for a limited time only from Saturday 22nd to Monday 24th February at 245 Regent Street. Consumers can shop an exclusive archive collection from some of LFW’s most iconic names including 16Arlington, Ahluwalia, Bianca Saunders, Completedworks, Conner Ives, HELEN KIRKUM, Johanna Parv and Saul Nash as well as sign up to attend a number of exclusive events including panel discussions, workshops and  piercings by AURUM London.

The LFW Shop is part of the City Wide Celebration (CWC), a programme of exciting events and promotions open to the public during LFW which take place across the capital's premier shopping destinations; Regent Street, Oxford Street, Soho and Covent Garden. Working closely with Principal Partner 1664 Blanc, the BFC is committed to opening up LFW to a new audience, providing wider support to the creative community.

As part of the programme, designers, retailers, cultural institutions and premium restaurants and bars come together to celebrate the very best of London. Packed full of unique experiences and activities, the CWC programme aims to support and promote retail across the UK while driving the fashion conversation forward via industry wide participation and partnerships.

The BFC are also collaborating with Highsnobiety’s “Not In London” to exclusively open the Official LFW Hub at 180 The Strand to their community. Guests will have exclusive access to the “Not In” Travel Lounge and activations from 1664 Blanc, Alo, Morocco Kingdom of Light and Reference Point.

As an Official Partner of LFW, Dylon invites you to the ‘Rethink New Laundrette’, an exciting pop-up where you’ll be able to reimagine, rework and revive a favourite item from your wardrobe to make it feel brand new again. Through a series of masterclasses, hosted by sustainable fashion experts including Shakaila Forbes-Bell, Victoria Lee, The New Craft House and Andrea Cheong, guests will learn new skills to renew their existing fashion staples.

 

Highsnobiety

Highsnobiety’s “Not In” is a multifaceted event that highlights cultural icons who influence their cities' arts and culture. This year, Not In London centers around Brit“ish”ness, celebrating the city's diverse communities with exclusive collaborations involving Barbour, Cedric Grolet, Barbican, Nicholas Daley, Chiltern Firehouse, and more, all available at the Highsnobiety online shop. From February 21st to 24th, Highsnobiety will host a pop-up at the Official LFW Hub, inviting guests to take a moment to relax between shows and check out the Travel Lounge. To celebrate LFW and the launch of AllSaints' Denim campaign, ‘Un.done’, AllSaints is hosting Denim events across five UK stores on the 20th February. The events will include exclusive iron on denim patches designed by The Hackney Dave, refreshments and live music. Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station's Light Festival is a free interactive art trail featuring eight must-see light installations by British and international artists, with all of them either making their UK or London debut. NFC & Phygital Garments is collaborating with LTD.inc to display futuristic NFC technology in fashion, showcasing the seamless integration of digital assets with physical products. London College of Fashion, UAL

This year’s LFW event will take place at LCF’s East Bank campus on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The Able-Graphy Exhibition celebrates the intersection of art and fashion. It explores how the leather handle of the Nosakhari ABLE bag serves as a canvas for storytelling. Highlights include a coffee-tasting experience with Sere Zhang’s A’wa Coffee on Saturday 22nd February from 2pm - 5pm and live music performances hosted by BBC radio presenter Amelia Poamz on Sunday 23rd February from 7pm - 11pm, featuring artists Nandi, Elsa, Duchess, Rxlls, and J2.

 

NOW Gallery

NOW Gallery presents Socks: The Art of Care and Repair, by London based textile artist Celia Pym. Focusing on sustainability in fashion and our lives more broadly, the exhibition celebrates the everyday act of mending through darning. Pym’s commission transforms NOW Gallery into a creative workshop space, with mending materials and socks to inspire the community to learn the art of darning. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own socks to repair and are welcome to drop in and try their hand at darning, mending and stitching. Book tickets here.

 

Pandora

Pandora has collaborated with designer Priya Ahluwalia to design a collection of exclusive illustrations, available for a limited time only for fans to engrave onto their favourite Pandora pieces. The designs take inspiration from Priya's heritage as well as textures and patterns from the Ahluwalia brand's past runway collections. The Pandora x Ahluwalia engraving designs are available from 20th February online and UK stores, products starting from £28 and engraving from £15.

Curated by the Dixon Brothers of KISS FM and DJ JDen of BASS & 8's, 0181 Sound features live performances and engaging Q&A sessions, spotlighting an eclectic network of talent.
