Club Sapna

You are officially invited to Club Sapna, a space for the diverse South Asian community, celebrating our shared experiences of displacement, identity, culture & fusion. Music representing us blasting out the speakers, marigolds surround the room & a splash of colour everywhere you look. Don your lenghas, your heavy jewels, wear your bindhis & bangles. Carry your version of your culture with you! Specialising in woven textiles, Sapna explores traditional weaving & craft techniques from Gujarat, where a large sum of India's traditional textiles are made. She analyses creatives in the community & the reasons why they want to give the South Asian community a voice & amplifies that message through her garments. Her project is celebratory. Celebrating her being born and raised in London. Celebrating her being Gujarati. Celebrating growing amongst a creative South Asian community. Celebrating a safe space for all of us.
