Shadow Love / Everlasting Love

I am an international fashion design undergraduate from China. The last three years of my study have changed my life. While we were facing COVID, I was going through one of the darkest moments of family change. I dress as a boy because of my biological father's preference for boys. Maybe it was my mother's protection of me or her expectation of my father, but it didn't seem to help. My father cut off all contact and financial resources while I was studying in the UK. The helplessness of being thousands of miles away almost put me in a state of depression. Although this experience is dark, I am now sunny and cheerful. I am grateful for this experience because I feel the importance of love from it. I convey my emotions in the form of works. There are two emotions in my work, a longing for the future and life, and to use Chinese culture to critique old Chinese ideas and institutions. I will keep the original intention and love of continuous innovation and perfection in design.
