My collection concept was inspired by my own climate anxiety, as well as my struggles with agoraphobia. These designs concepts all surround the message of “The end of the world” and climate change, and how humans will need to adapt to survive. Throughout my work, garments, portfolio and promotional materials, you see this message with a tongue in cheek approach to it. Wanting to keep the humorous and non-serious attitude of my brand, alongside serious topics, I created a body of work almost making fun of itself for taking things too seriously. My promotional items represent the themes of “doomsday” whilst adding a playful element through the concept, with the use of launch events in underground bunkers (clubs) and PR packages designed with “survival but make it cool” in mind.
