Caught in a Sweet Sleep Paralysis

Dreams explore an unknown side of ourselves through a hazy, patchy labyrinth, dreams don’t care for coherent timelines, for a definition of space or for a continuous appearance of an object. A face shifts until it morphs from your neighbour’s to your old friend from pre-school. You run in place, you feel every sensation while lying static in bed, experiencing all imaginable physical sensations, while not feeling anything at all, you’re afloat while sinking in bed. In this collection I want to supervise a trip into a dream, apparently sweet, which slowly starts sweeping away between your fingers, and you find yourself stuck in a nightmare, full of bows and pastel shades of pink. This collection will call back to childhood elements, visuals, and sensory responses as a form of escapism, only allowed in the realm of a dream.
