THROUGH THE KALEIDASCOPE

Gabriella Sanchez Reyes Hyland is an emerging womenswear designer whose practice explores immersive print, exaggerated silhouettes and vibrant colours. Debuting her spring summer 2024 collection “Though The Kaleidoscope" she explores the use of laser cutting within her collection to create unique shapes that reflect the print she has created. Laser cutting is a modern and innovative use of technology that she uses in order to generate individual shapes to add surface texture to her collection. Gabriella tests the boundaries of fashion, creating large silhouettes and daring curved shapes. Designed with the intention for the collection to feel like an escape from the negativity of reality, this vibrant collection is heavily pattern orientated.
