Be coded

My designs are based on simplicity, and I pay more attention to variations in silhouette than to innovations in textiles. I am good at finding design inspiration from details or phenomena around me. In my project, I thought about what attracts people to stop by the common publicity tactics of "veiling", I also find that the more things are coded, the more curious people are. Therefore, I have researched the common ways of coding in life, and the Eastern mystery, "five tones for five organs" theory, which asserts that the five traditional tones can be used as a treatment, to explore what lies beneath the veil. For the colours, I referred to infrared photography, which can see invisible things. Afterward, concerning collage and grid-like coding, I chose a combination of weavings and different kinds of fabrics for the fabric remake. In the final garment, Layers of different fabrics and weavings were felted to create a coded effect. To express the state of dislocation and blurring after being covered.
