El Patrón

This year I wanted to create a project that's inspiration comes from 1980’s Colombia. After spending time traveling parts of South and Central America during summer, I found Colombia to be where I took the most inspiration from. In previous semesters I have focused on menswear and tailoring and wanted to continue with this going into fourth year. Whilst looking at the country as a whole, I have begun looking more specifically into the late 1970’s and 80’s. A time period that was run by Cartels and the Narcos. Using ideas from this and other inspiration I took from this vibrant and intriguing country.
