The main characteristics of my designs are practicality and simplicity. I design multifunctional garments that can allow the end-user to be comfortable, protected and free. Like all the people and communities around the world that have lived with extreme weather conditions for years and years, any of my single piece can be worn in different occasions or multiple ways, based on the ever-changing climate condition, and the different lifestyles based on the weather. Sosa designs and creates objects inspired with shapes and volume. This abstract approach helps the end-user to tackle, stop and fight the environment’s challenges. I push myself to create innovative silhouettes for the humans. Active-wear and performance-wear are designed and built to last in time, where quality and craftsmanship are the main factors of the process, the shapes and colours draw reference from the specific area. My aim is to make pieces that are as resilient as the communities during critical environmental phases, from outerwear to everyday jersey, that recalls the architectural history of the habitats. My focus and goal, is to protect the communities from extreme weather conditions, creating a family with long-lasting pieces to store in their homes, from generation to generation.
