As a fashion designer, Iona Peat’s work has been largely inspired by the workers and influential figures in her home city, which is where she grew up. Iona’s designs often emphasize shape and silhouette, which is influenced by research imagery and experiences. It has also been important to take inspiration from traditional dyeing methods, such as tie-dying and using natural dyes to give fabrics new patterns and patterns to them. Iona thrives to continue this journey of exploration.
