The British Fashion Council (BFC) today announces the appointment of Narmin Mohammadi to Head of Showcasing. This position will see Narmin work across all British Fashion Council showcasing initiatives, including London Fashion Week, London Collections: Men and LONDON show ROOMS, and the BFC’s designer support initiatives.
Alongside Clara Mercer, Head of Marketing; Gemma Ebelis, Head of Press; Jenico Preston, Head of Sponsorship and Josef Jammerbund, Head of Events, Narmin will be charged with delivering and developing the BFC's strategic goals. Narmin will report directly to Simon Ward, Chief Operating Officer of the British Fashion Council.
Narmin’s main responsibilities will include liaising closely with designers to participate both in UK and international markets through the BFC’s portfolio of showcasing opportunities.
On her appointment, Narmin said “I’m thrilled to be joining the BFC team full time. Having worked in different areas of the industry for a number of years I’m delighted to be in a position to further support British designer development on an international scale.”
