The Collection for LFW CD

To celebrate London Fashion Week and the creative relationship between fashion and music, the BFC/Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation and its music partner, Sony, have launched an album series entitled ‘The Collection for London Fashion Week’. Each season an album will be curated & compiled by a different fashion luminary who will give their sound track to London Fashion Week.

The first collaboration is 'Burberry Acoustic - The Collection for London Fashion Week' - curated by Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey. Not only does the album, which features all British musicians, play host to some big names - Elton John, David Bowie and The Pogues, it also includes four special  Burberry Acoustic tracks recorded exclusively for the brand by emerging British bands Ramona, Patch William, Life In Film and Good Shoes. Burberry is the ideal brand to kick off the series as music is part of its DNA. Burberry recently launched Burberry Acoustic, an ongoing project collaborating with British artists to celebrate the brand's heritage of founding, developing and supporting emerging British talent, across multiple Burberry experiences through the attitude and energy of music.

The artwork for the album has been designed by Christopher Bailey and the package is a lavish hardback book, housing the CD and stunning Burberry photography within the booklet. It will appeal to fans of the brand and the bands.

It will be released during London Fashion Week on Monday 20th September and be available from iTunes (UK) and contemporary stores including Browns, Cruise, Matches and START.
