Toby Vernon's graduate collection 'Return to Order' is a celebration of craftsmanship. Creating hardware from sterling silver set with precious stones allows it to transcend function becoming an item of jewellery. The unique construction of garments is emphasised by felted stripes, interrupted by a series of darts. Leaving evidence of human imperfection allows not only the maker to remain connected to his garments, but the wearer to connect with him through his work.
