Cribarth

A textile filled 6-outfit mixed collection inspired by my Welsh Heritage and traditions. Layered and mountainous garments draw inspiration from a collection of family heirloom garments and Victorian portraits by Welsh photographer John Thomas. Giant silhouettes bear the bold traditional prints and colours reflecting the South Wales Valleys landscape; strikes of limes and stitches of purples throughout the collection highlight the contrasting colours. Warm blankets and shawls wrapped around the body build the foundations of many garments within the collection.
