ARREBENTAS

Eduardo Moreira is a Portuguese London-based designer whose work draws inspiration from his experiences as a child of a post-dictatorial Portuguese society. Folkloristic tales from his hometown and family memoirs of Salazar’s dictatorship have allowed the designer to develop a ghostly narrative throughout his work. Having Artificial Intelligence at the forefront of his interests, his work unfolds as a utopic vision of a collaboration between mankind and the ghost in the machine. Moreira is doing his BA at the University of Westminster, in which he’s had the possibility to develop his practice in womenswear, menswear and textiles, more specifically tufting.
