'A Man Marr'd'

'A Man Marr'd' is a Menswear collection inspired by an avid love of history & the desire to share stories of past lives in a contemporary space. The initial inspiration and research stems from a personal collection piece, a Victorian-era lace wedding veil. Amongst the personal collection of antique fashion items, 3 wedding veils, dating back to the late Victorian time period, were chosen to inspire the story. As a menswear designer with male muses, this collection represents the wedding from the male perspective. Using historical references as well as modern influences and muses, this collection tells a story of disobedience, the story of an unwanted wedding and its aftermath for the unruly and unwilling groom.
