Warped Control SS23

Phoebe White, a British Fashion Designer, who specialises in Womenswear. My research focuses on the storytelling of themes surrounding women’s struggles within society that resonate with my own experiences, with the hope to produce unique bodies of work that provoke uncomfortable conversations. Consistently drawn to the female form, I use a combination of tailoring and flou to translate a strong yet fragile multifaceted femininity. During my 4-year degree, I interned at Victoria Beckham on the Design Team, assisting on SS22, PW22, AW22, Resort23 and concluded with SS23 where I attended the brands first Paris Fashion Week debut. My graduate collection, ‘Warped Control SS23’ is a subjective response that focuses on the wider societal issue of domestic abuse in conjunction with mental health. Reflecting the impact traumatic events have on the functionality of daily life.
