Womenswear designer with a deep interest in draping and exploring the art of minimalism. Seeing how beauty lies in the absence of excess has led me to explore the process of stripping away the unnecessary, to reveal the essence of a design. With a meticulous focus on clean lines, thoughtful silhouettes, and a refined colour palette, I aim to create garments that exude a sense of timeless tranquility. My inspiration for this collection draws upon the mythical tale of the sirens, which were portrayed as sea creatures, capable of luring passing sailors to their perilous islands by the sweetness of their voice. In envisioning a modern-day siren, I have incorporated elements reminiscent of fishing equipment with drape to manipulate the shape and silhouette of the garments. This fusion results in a collection that merges fantasy and reality, capturing the essence of a contemporary siren, evoking a sense of allure and mystique while honouring the strength and power of the female form.
