Will you still love me without my heels?

Conceptual genderfluid designer with a love for storytelling and draping with contrasting fabrics. I have shown my flair for theatrical designs through my industry experience designing costumes for RuPaul’s Drag Race UK as well as creating custom corsets and dresses for designer Brian de Carvahlo. “Will you still love me without my heels?” is a romantic genderfluid collection, created from my experiences with men who fetishise my feminine gender expression. Dreamy and peachy renaissance paintings and a melancholy mood are brought into the modern context of queer femininity, juxtaposing the feminine with masculine and the pure with the eroticism of fetish culture. An ethereal palette of dainty blushes and nude silks becomes corrupted through glossy black latex styling with garments that consist of both restricting silhouettes and poufy clouds of bridal inspired tulle, emulating the objectifying experience of misogynistic gender roles pushed upon feminine people.
