‘A Tale of Two Sisters’ This collection delves into the essence of individuality among women, particularly through the lens of sisterly bonds. It is an introspective journey that examines the intricate dynamics between myself and my sister, highlighting the profound differences and the shared experiences that shape our identities. The work is a comparative study of our childhood memories, tracing our growth from shared beginnings to becoming distinct individuals. The project extends into the realm of folklore, exploring the communal spirit it embodies. A key objective was to visually capture the bond between my sister and me during a cherished festival, using this setting to underscore our collective memories within a larger community context. The concept of deconstruction is central to the collection, with garment details intentionally placed in unconventional locations. This represents the divergence in our personalities and aesthetics, while simultaneously crafting a harmonious visual narrative that mirrors the synchronicity of our relationship.
